Kawaiii... Shogo Sakamoto^^

Shogo

Full Name: Sakamoto Shogo
Live action movie            : -
Live action dorama            : Hammer Session
Live action musical            : Prince of Tennis, Kuroshitsuji 1
With a shy smile and crispy voice, Sakamoto Shogo has been captivating a lot attention since he portrayed Echizen Ryoma in Prince of Tennis Musical. There had been many Ryomas I watched, but Shogo’s is quite different. Despite of showing arrogance prodigy, this Ryoma looks kind and sweet. Ah, Shogo!

Shogo was born in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Perfecture at June 13 1993. Well, they say that a Gemini is mostly adaptable. At the same time, he gets nervous easily, too. I think that’s why Shogo’s image never shows arrogance.
He’s currently working under Amuse *Ah, there are so many Amusers I wrote in this blog* He has not yet given leading role in dorama/movie, but I hope it’s just a matter of time. However, Shogo announced his “retirement” from showbiz in December 2011 to focus on his study.
I always admire actors who played musical. When you act on TV, you get “TAKE 2″ or “TAKE 3″, but you don’t have any in musical. That’s why only great actor can make one show success. That’s why I salute Shogo for having such musicals’ experiences. The funny thing is that all his musical characters are supposed to be chibi (small), but Shogo is 170 cm tall * I can’t see how we could see him small* Lucky his fellow cast members are waaaaaaaaaaayyy too tall. When he portrayed Ciel Phantomhive, he acted with Matsushita Yuya who’s 180 cm. When he played Ryoma, all the Seigaku regulars are 180 above. huff
